Information you choose to provide
When you call, email, or use the scheduling link, you may provide your name, work email, company, scheduling details, and a short description of the job and the decision you want to discuss.
Do not send confidential client records, medical information, card or bank details, tax records, privileged legal material, or anything else sensitive through this website, by email, or through the scheduling link. If something has to be shared for a piece of work, we agree how first.
How inquiry information is used
Compical uses the information to respond, to prepare for the conversation, to keep ordinary business records, and to prevent abuse. Compical does not sell it, does not share it with anyone selling you software, and does not use it for advertising.
Booking a call
The scheduling link on this site goes to Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com receives the name, email address, phone number, and notes you enter, and it handles that under its own privacy policy. Compical receives the same details as the booking. If you would rather not use it, call or email instead.
Phone calls
The published number, (415) 489-0762, is a Google Voice line. Google receives the call record, and if you leave a voicemail it receives the recording and an automatic written copy of it, under its own privacy policy. Calls are not otherwise recorded. Once we have spoken you get a direct number that does not go through it.
Measuring how the site is used
This site uses PostHog to count how pages are used: which pages get read, which links get clicked, roughly where visitors are from, and what kind of device and browser they use. PostHog handles that under its own privacy policy.
PostHog also records the visit itself, so it can be played back later like a screen recording: the pages you open, where you scroll, where the mouse goes, what you click. Every visit, not a sample. Anything typed into a field is hidden before the recording leaves your browser, and the recording covers this site only. It does not follow you to the booking page on Cal.com, and it does not touch your email. PostHog deletes a recording no more than 30 days after it is made.
I use all of it to find out which pages are worth keeping and which are not. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not connected to anything you send by phone, email, or the booking link. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, this site does not load it at all.
Retention and choices
What you send is kept only as long as it is needed: for the conversation, for work that may follow, for ordinary business records, and for anything the law requires Compical to hold on to. Ask and it gets corrected or deleted, except where something has to be kept for one of those reasons, and in that case you will be told which.
